Customer Delivery Driver - Airside Team

Overview

Join dnata's dynamic catering team at Canberra Airport as a Customer Delivery Driver within the Airside team. Play an essential role in supporting aviation services by ensuring accurate and safe delivery of catering to aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive short distances on airport airside, performing routine vehicle checks including refueling.
• Safely load and unload catering trolleys, carts, and ovens onto trucks and aircraft, monitoring and reporting discrepancies.
• Guide and position delivery vehicles in compliance with company, airport, and airline safety regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate with airline cabin crew during aircraft catering deliveries.
• Liaise with dispatch to manage flight delivery schedules and aircraft timings.
• Complete administrative documentation, reporting, and contribute to general cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Hold a valid clean MR or HR driver’s license.
• Physically capable of frequent manual handling.
• Adopt a safety-first approach, demonstrating vigilance and adherence to company training and procedures.
• Flexibility to work around varying flight schedules.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Present a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Ability to obtain a clear National Police Check, as required within the aviation sector.
• Availability to work 38 hours per week in this full-time permanent role.
