Position Objective

The Control Room CCTV Operator is responsible for the reliable and efficient daily management of the control room. This includes monitoring surveillance systems, timely incident reporting, and maintaining service standards under the supervision of the Corporate Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee CCTV systems including cameras, video recording, and storage management.
• Maintain and check control room equipment such as monitors, radios, telephones, and computers.
• Continuously monitor surveillance to ensure proper cataloging and retrieval of recorded footage.
• Supervise alarm systems and guarantee prompt response to alerts.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior following established procedures.
• Safeguard security system integrity to prevent unauthorized entry and exit.
• Compile daily system status updates and incident reports for management review.
• Keep detailed incident logs and escalate issues without delay.
• Assist the security team during emergencies and incidents.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy and confidentiality protocols.
• Coordinate with law enforcement authorities for CCTV evidence when necessary.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Security Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements and Skills

• Formal education in any discipline.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with surveillance and incident management technologies.
• Keen observation and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain composure and act effectively during high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Effective time management and teamwork skills.
• Capability to function well in high-risk or crisis environments, including leadership and team oversight competencies.
