Construction Manager

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead construction projects in Abu Dhabi from initiation to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction operations, serving as the chief technical advisor to subcontractors, supervisors, and site staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily site activities to meet project timelines effectively.
• Analyze and interpret construction drawings, specifications, bills of quantities (BOQs), and contract documentation.
• Confirm accurate site setting out, leveling, surveying, and measurements.
• Guarantee construction work aligns with approved designs, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Track construction progress ensuring adherence to schedules and milestones.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, engineers, quantity surveyors, planners, and subcontractors to resolve operational or technical issues.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment usage, and allocation of resources to maximize efficiency.
• Assess material needs, negotiate costs when applicable, and suggest cost-effective building solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulatory authorities, building codes, and statutory mandates.
• Hold regular meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve concerns.
• Supervise workforce and subcontractors to maintain productivity and project compliance.
• Monitor quality assurance procedures and initiate corrective measures as required.
• Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and tackle technical challenges, construction problems, and potential risks.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, maintain site records and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget limits, timelines, and quality expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, or Project Engineer overseeing construction projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, contractual procedures, and project execution.
• Skilled in managing subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with local building codes, construction regulations, and HSE standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
