About Rockstar Games and Role Overview
Rockstar Games is a leading developer of premier entertainment experiences. Join a dynamic team engaged in ambitious, large-scale creative projects within an inclusive and highly motivated environment, collaborating with top industry talent. We are seeking a dedicated Community Coordinator to join our Creator Platform team, which supports the FiveM and RedM multiplayer modification platforms along with the Cfx Marketplace.
You will act as the key community liaison internally and externally, spotlighting innovative initiatives, analyzing sentiment, collecting feedback, and working closely with players, creators, and server operators worldwide to enhance the FiveM and RedM platforms.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our distinctive game development studio in central London.
About the Creator Platform Team
- We develop a technology platform enabling players to enjoy community-made content on bespoke dedicated servers where creators build custom game modes and modifications using various scripting languages.
- The Cfx Marketplace offers a curated digital storefront featuring purchasable props, scripts, maps, and other creations by talented FiveM/RedM developers.
- We closely collaborate with our global community to communicate project updates, gather feedback, and advocate for community interests with our development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create community communications including Community Spotlight features, product release notes, and other updates relevant to the Creator Platform.
- Gather and synthesize community sentiment and feedback for leadership review.
- Coordinate closely with Creator Platform leadership to align schedules and upcoming communications.
- Maintain an engaging presence across community channels, monitoring and summarizing feedback to escalate internally as needed.
- Support moderation activities across social media and community platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a player-facing role such as community management, communications, or marketing within the video game or digital entertainment sectors.
- Proficiency in handling community relations, attentively listening to players, and effectively engaging diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated capability in managing and moderating online communities across various platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills facilitating productive collaboration with marketing, development, and customer support teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategy.
- A passion for cultivating community engagement and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior involvement with gaming or modding communities, specifically related to Grand Theft Auto and the FiveM/RedM ecosystems.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages, game design, or modding tools pertinent to FiveM and RedM platforms.
- Experience or interest in identifying and showcasing popular or innovative community content.
- Familiarity with managing social media channels for developers or gaming publishers.
