Role Overview
We are recruiting a College Assessor Trainer specializing in Engineering and Manufacturing to provide hands-on training and assessment for vocational learners. The position emphasizes practical skill development, coaching in workshop and community contexts, and evaluating learners' competence against industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and assess candidates towards established qualifications at the college site.
- Upkeep high standards of learners' work performance, dedication, and behavior by taking proactive measures to maintain excellence.
- Ensure all workshop tools, machinery, and equipment are safe, operational, and suitable for instructional use, including performing routine inspections, basic upkeep, and safety checks aligned with health and safety mandates.
- Prepare necessary materials and equipment to support lecturers and students efficiently and promptly.
- Accurately complete awarding organization paperwork in compliance with relevant policies and deadlines.
- Engage in continual evaluation and enhancement of teaching quality through participation in the institute's professional development and observation initiatives.
- Supervise and execute practical community or college projects ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience in the specified sector.
- Minimum Level 3 education or above, or an equivalent professional qualification in the subject area.
