About the Role

Join Two Rivers Housing as a Cleaner, making a significant impact by ensuring warm, safe, and affordable living spaces for tenants. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of shared areas and vacant properties across various locations in Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean.

Key Duties

• Perform independent and team-based cleaning tasks in community spaces.
• Maintain communal area cleanliness through dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
• Keep detailed records of cleaning activities and report any defects or repair needs.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines and COSHH regulations.
• Regular physical tasks including stair climbing and transporting cleaning tools between floors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Awareness and proper use of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Capability to follow health and safety and job instructions accurately.
• Time management proficiency.
• Driver’s license mandatory for the position.
• Competence in using IT equipment for precise record-keeping.
• Prior experience in general or contract cleaning is advantageous but not essential.
