Role overview

We are seeking a Cleaner for an onsite position in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with Al Darmaky Contracting & Agricultural Materials. This role focuses on keeping assigned indoor and outdoor spaces clean, hygienic, and presentable, including offices, facilities, and landscaped areas.

What you will do

• Keep offices, workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, corridors, and shared spaces clean and sanitized.
• Disinfect washrooms, toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and restock essentials such as soap, tissue, and other hygiene items.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, windows, and office equipment.
• Collect waste, empty bins, and move rubbish to the approved disposal points.
• Maintain kitchen and pantry cleanliness, including washing cups and keeping refreshment areas orderly.
• Refill drinking water, paper towels, hand soap, and other consumables when needed.
• Raise any repair needs, damage, or unsafe conditions with the Administration Officer.
• Handle cleaning agents and equipment in a safe manner and follow company instructions for their use.
• Store all cleaning tools and materials correctly after use.
• Help prepare office areas for meetings, events, and visitors by keeping them neat and organized.
• Follow company HSE rules and procedures at all times.
• Use the required PPE while carrying out cleaning tasks.
• Take on additional housekeeping duties requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Basic education is preferred.
• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility maintenance is beneficial.
• Familiarity with workplace health, safety, and hygiene practices.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on cleanliness standards.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and schedules.
• Comfortable working onsite in indoor and outdoor conditions and handling moderate lifting when needed.
• Basic English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic or another language is an added advantage.
