Job Summary
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the bakery and office premises at the Head Office Bakery in Watford.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sweeping and mopping of floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Vacuum carpets throughout designated areas.
- Dust and clean various surfaces regularly.
- Maintain hygienic conditions in lavatories.
- Clean the office and kitchen spaces efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to established safety protocols.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and machinery with proper safety precautions.
- Undertake any other reasonable cleaning duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning roles is necessary.
- Competence in safely using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Detail-oriented to ensure thorough cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Reliability with punctuality being essential.
Contract Details
- This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour workweek, with 37.5 hours being paid.
