Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the dish room, dishwashing equipment, and storage areas.
• Help with general cleaning tasks in the restaurant as required.
• Assist in putting away orders, cooking chicken, and performing basic food preparation when asked.
• Collaborate with team members to exceed guest expectations and promote the Nando's experience.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• Dedication to delivering quality service and possess knowledge of food and beverage handling.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic proficiency in English and professional communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Capable of independently lifting up to 15 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Stamina to stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry food or dishes for 8–10 hours per day.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead.
• Able to navigate stairs in multi-level restaurant locations.
