Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and dedicated Commercial Cleaner for our Palm Lake Resort in Carindale. This permanent part-time role involves working at least 18 hours weekly on a Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule. Your efforts will be key in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our resort, creating a pleasant atmosphere for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas including the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and rubbish disposal tasks.
• Ensure sanitary conditions in toilet facilities.
• Clean internal windows and keep equipment such as refrigerators and microwaves spotless.
• Organize kitchen areas by emptying dishwashers and wiping surfaces.
• Restock consumable supplies like coffee and tea.
• Identify and remove hazards to promote safety, such as slippery floors or obstacles.
• Clean stock and display homes intended for prospective buyers.
• Conduct weekly cleaning duties including wiping light switches, power points, door frames, and dusting cobwebs.
• Carry out additional cleaning assignments as directed by resort management.

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage cleaning schedules efficiently.
