Role Summary
The Civil Inspector will oversee and inspect civil and road construction activities onsite, ensuring all works align with project drawings, specifications, and applicable construction standards to maintain quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of civil and road construction tasks to verify adherence to designs, specifications, and standards.
- Supervise site operations, documenting any deviations or non-conformance issues.
- Validate material quantities and uphold quality assurance for civil works.
- Evaluate and approve materials, shop drawings, and proposed construction methodologies.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and on-site teams to address progress and technical challenges.
- Ensure proper execution of tasks following approved method statements.
- Assist the project team by contributing to progress tracking and technical assessments.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and site regulations.
- Guarantee adherence to standards specified by relevant authorities such as MOT and RCRC or equivalents.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience working on civil and road construction projects.
- Preferably experienced in supervisory or inspection positions.
- Strong expertise in construction standards, quality control methods, and specifications.
- Well-versed in both local and international construction standards.
