Role Overview

We are seeking Chefs for full-time and part-time positions at our Muff location. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu dishes to consistent standards, managing ingredient preparation during service, and presenting meals attractively and promptly. Key daily responsibilities include planning, prepping ingredients, maintaining food safety and hygiene compliance, and sustaining kitchen cleanliness and organization. Furthermore, the Chef will support training junior kitchen staff, assist in managing waste and food costs, and foster a respectful and positive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in food preparation, cooking methods, and plating aesthetics, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations including stock management, portion control, and basic cost monitoring.
• Knowledgeable of food safety standards, HACCP guidelines, and hygiene practices with a strong commitment to safe working methods.
• Capable of working effectively in a busy environment, managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate respectfully with colleagues and supervisors.
• Flexibility to cover a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, with a positive approach to learning, feedback, and ongoing development.
