About the Role
The Chat Support Specialist position at Grubspot NG is a part-time remote opportunity dedicated to offering prompt and helpful assistance to customers through chat and social media channels. The role involves addressing inquiries about products, pricing, delivery methods, and services; resolving order-related issues; and guiding users throughout the ordering process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, professional responses to customer questions via chat and social media platforms.
- Resolve issues related to orders and assist customers in navigating the ordering system.
- Record and report recurring customer concerns to the relevant teams for further action.
- Escalate complex technical problems appropriately within the organization.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions.
- Monitor chat channels during assigned working hours, ensuring a friendly and professional attitude to promote customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with an emphasis on written English proficiency.
- Basic technical knowledge to troubleshoot platform, order, or account challenges and escalate when necessary.
- Analytical capability to interpret customer feedback, identify trends in issues, and recommend process improvements or updates to FAQs.
- Ability to work independently from a remote setup with reliable internet access and manage a part-time schedule efficiently.
- Previous experience in online customer service, chat support, or customer-facing roles, preferably in food service, is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media channels and basic chat tools; knowledge or interest in Grubspot NG's services and the food industry is advantageous.
