About the Role

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Dallas is seeking diligent Cashiers to uphold excellent customer service standards by efficiently handling ticket sales and managing cash transactions. Cashiers will play a key role in maintaining company security by accurately reconciling retail cash registers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Process payments for admission tickets, issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change as required
• Welcome guests warmly, ensuring they receive top-notch customer service in a pleasant atmosphere
• Stay informed about admission prices, packages, promotional offers, and advertisements
• Address and resolve customer concerns, escalating to management when necessary
• Record all cash and other forms of payments with precision and efficiency
• Count and verify cash amounts in drawers at the start and conclusion of shifts, balancing against sales records
• Maintain a clean and organized work station with adequate stock of supplies
• Provide assistance to the bar by delivering drinks to guests during the show as needed
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Required Skills and Abilities

• Comfortable using computer systems to process information
• Proficient in counting money and making correct change
• Capable of handling difficult or impolite guests professionally
• Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and customers
• Ability to accurately read, count, and complete necessary documentation
• Physical stamina to stand or sit for long periods and lift items up to 10 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification
• Between 1 to 2 years of experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service roles
