Role overview
Cencora is looking for a Caseworker to support reimbursement-related workflows and help ensure coverage requests are handled accurately, consistently, and on time. In this role, you will contribute to patient support operations by coordinating case activity, maintaining documentation, and helping move cases toward resolution. The position is based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada and is a full-time onsite role.
What you'll do
- Support reimbursement processing so coverage-related requests are handled promptly and accurately across customer operations and patient support workstreams.
- Manage benefits paperwork, case notes, follow-up tasks, and reimbursement communications to keep cases progressing.
- Work through common reimbursement problems, missing documentation, and workflow exceptions to reduce delays and improve access outcomes.
- Keep case files, reimbursement records, and system entries current to support visibility, reporting, and workflow control.
- Track reimbursement patterns, recurring issues, and possible escalation signals to help prevent service disruption.
- Coordinate with internal and external contacts to clarify reimbursement requirements and support case closure.
- Help improve processes, refresh workflow practices, and support operational readiness for scalable reimbursement services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support services, case coordination, claims support, or a closely related area.
- Certification in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, CRM systems, or process improvement is preferred.
