About The Role
Okanagan College is seeking a dedicated Careers Hub Coordinator to lead and enhance work-integrated learning (WIL) and cooperative education (Co-op) initiatives for its students. This position plays a vital role in fostering connections between education and employment, supporting students’ career journey through close collaboration with faculty, employers, learners, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with employers to build strong partnership networks.
- Provide support and coordination for WIL and Co-op programs throughout the college.
- Advise and coach students on preparing resumes, mastering interview skills, expanding networking abilities, and developing overall career readiness.
- Organize work-integrated learning opportunities and employer engagement events to facilitate valuable student experiences.
- Help students obtain essential skills and experiences to be fully prepared for career success after graduation.
