Role Summary
The Care Coordinator ensures seamless delivery of care by efficiently managing schedules, matching carers to client needs, and supporting the creation of care plans. This role involves office-based work with occasional participation in care delivery within an extra care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and coordinate care services and client timetables.
- Align carers with clients based on individualized requirements.
- Assist in establishing new care packages.
- Plan staff rotas to maintain consistent care provision.
- Liaise with families and medical professionals to support client wellbeing.
- Maintain records on staff availability, absences, and urgent calls.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, including phone coverage (additional remuneration applies).
Candidate Profile
- Excellent organisational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-paced work setting.
- Possession of a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining.
- Minimum of one year experience in administrative roles.
- Prior care sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of 27,000.
