Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team within the hospitality sector. This role involves managing sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing activities for diverse items such as food and beverage products, operating supplies, maintenance items, equipment, and various services for multiple resort properties. The Buyer ensures consistent quality, cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and cultivates strong supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and select suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and dependable product quality.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors to support operational goals and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations including pricing, rebates, and service terms to optimize value and reduce expenditures.
  • Design and execute procurement strategies aligned with operational needs and budgetary goals.
  • Accurately process purchase orders in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Proficiency in managing vendor relations, contract negotiation, and procurement workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Finance or a closely related discipline.
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CPPB, or CSCP are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities with emphasis on cost control and process refinement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel for data reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with procurement software, ERP systems, preferably Oracle ERP.
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, purchasing standards, and supply chain fundamentals.
