Business Program Manager - Platforms, Education Impact

The Global Impact team within Google for Education has supported over 140 million users including students and educators through extensive training and community programs centered on products like Gemini, Google Workspace for Education, and Chromebooks.

We are seeking an experienced platform administrator to lead the complete administration, configuration, and enhancement of our global professional development learning environment. This position involves ensuring smooth system operations, protecting data integrity, and maintaining connectivity across key learning platforms. The role bridges the technical aspects of system infrastructure with learning experience design.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the learning management systems, credentialing processes, and registration platforms to enable seamless content management for program leaders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot API integrations, collaborate with engineering teams on feature deployments and issue resolutions, while ensuring compliance with data security standards.
• Develop automated reporting dashboards and deliver routine data analyses to evaluate program performance.
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues related to platform management.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or comparable practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in program or project management.
• Proficiency in working with external vendors, preparing business requirements, managing contracts, deliverables, and API/LTI integration processes.
• Hands-on experience administering learning management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Program Management or equivalent experience in a tech-focused program management role.
• At least 3 years of experience managing projects involving multiple functions or teams.
• Skilled stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience working in the education sector.
• Demonstrated expertise with Intellum or similar enterprise LMS platforms and digital credentialing solutions such as Accredible or Credly.

• Compensation range for U.S.-based employees is $111,000 to $160,000 annually plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
