Role Overview

We seek a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst for our Global Consumer Finance data team. This role focuses on the collection, analysis, and visualization of financial information to facilitate informed decision-making. Responsibilities include dashboard and report creation, complex financial data analysis, and identifying actionable trends to boost financial outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update financial dashboards and reports utilizing BI tools like Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
• Analyze key financial indicators such as revenue, expenses, profit margins, and forecasting data.
• Compose advanced SQL queries to retrieve data from financial systems.
• Partner with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and planning initiatives.
• Streamline and automate periodic financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and leadership for delivering actionable financial insights.
• Manage finance dashboards on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
• Ensure meticulous data accuracy and adherence to governance standards.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years’ experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, or related analytics roles.
• Master’s degree in analytics-related fields such as Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or Engineering.
• Proficient with BI platforms including Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel; adept with pivot tables and financial modeling.
• Strong expertise in SQL for database querying.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Competencies

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Understanding of financial metrics and models for revenue and expense forecasting.
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL workflows.
• Effective communication skills for presenting insights to diverse stakeholders.

• Salary placement is influenced by education, skills, experience, job knowledge, performance, location, shift, equity considerations, and organizational needs.
• Compensation ranges apply to roles in California, Colorado, New York, and eligible remote positions, and are subject to adjustment.
