About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee dealership operations and drive growth across key business parameters including sales volumes, market share, collections, deliveries, and spare parts sales. This position requires managing a network of dealerships and sub-dealers to ensure comprehensive market coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage dealerships to meet targets on volume, market share, collections, deliveries, and spare parts sales.
- Develop and maintain a robust distribution network by appointing dealers and sub-dealers strategically.
- Ensure dealerships have adequately trained personnel to support business operations.
- Coach dealers and their teams in implementing systems such as MSS to enhance effectiveness.
- Oversee the provision of service infrastructure and promote adoption of service systems to boost customer satisfaction.
- Organize sales promotion events, product launches, and local campaigns to increase market traction.
- Train dealer sales staff on pre-sales and sales processes, including product updates and new features.
- Monitor competitor activities and gather feedback related to both competitor and company products.
- Develop and implement incentive schemes targeted at dealership personnel to motivate performance.
- Coordinate with financial institutions and banks to explore new retail financing options for products.
Preferred Industry
Tractor sector experience is highly valued.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should be engineering graduates with about 4 to 7 years of relevant experience or diploma holders with 7 to 9 years in related roles.
Experience and Skills
- Competence in computer applications including MS Office; familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective presentation abilities.
- Customer-centric approach and focus on delivering results.
- Ability to work well in teams and develop personnel.
- Strong execution skills combined with strategic vision.
