Position Overview
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead Shockbyte's growth within the business-to-business sector. This individual will be pivotal in establishing new collaborations with game studios, promoting Shockbyte's orchestration platform for studios, and maintaining relationships with our key partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline targeting game studios, from identifying leads to finalizing partnership agreements.
- Establish exclusive POGS partnerships positioning Shockbyte as the primary hosting provider.
- Promote usage of Shockbyte for Game Studios across both new prospects and existing clients.
- Serve as the main liaison for important partners, nurturing relationships until account managers take over.
- Participate in major international gaming events such as GDC and Gamescom, conducting consecutive meetings and demonstrations.
- Handle contract negotiations and formalize agreements with game studios and external associates.
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demos to executives and game developers.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated background in business development, partnerships, or sales within the gaming or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of the gaming industry and familiarity with events such as GDC and Gamescom.
- Outgoing personality comfortable with continuous networking and hosting multiple meetings daily.
- Expertise in delivering presentations, demos, and successful deal closures.
- Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to independently build and sustain an organized sales pipeline.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail for managing travel logistics, meetings, and follow-ups.

- Experience in media relations or public relations.
- Background in SaaS, cloud computing, or server infrastructure.
- An established network within the gaming industry.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
