About the Role
MUMUSO Retail Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to spearhead the company's retail growth throughout India. This key position entails scouting new business prospects, onboarding franchise partners, securing retail venues, managing commercial negotiations, and ensuring smooth store inaugurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead retail expansion on a national scale via franchise and company-operated stores.
- Locate and secure new franchise partnerships.
- Identify and finalize suitable retail spaces in malls and prominent street locations.
- Conduct detailed market research including surveys, feasibility assessments, and competitor analysis.
- Negotiate lease agreements and commercial terms with property owners and developers.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure timely store openings.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with franchisees, real estate agents, and mall authorities.
- Compile expansion progress reports and meet store launch objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualification of graduate or MBA in Marketing, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated 10 to 12 years of experience in retail business growth or franchise development.
- Exceptional negotiation capabilities, effective communication, and strong relationship management skills.
- Willingness to undertake frequent travel across various locations in India.
