About the Role
Join an ambitious international FMCG company expanding its footprint in Ireland as a Business Development Executive within a dynamic and high-performing commercial team. This role offers an opportunity for a commercially driven professional to contribute to strategic growth efforts, foster client relationships, and execute business development projects in a collaborative fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will take ownership of their responsibilities and support the ongoing success of a vibrant organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement client development programmes focused on strengthening partnerships and boosting business expansion.
- Gain deep insights into client businesses, industry sectors, and market trends to uncover new commercial prospects.
- Contribute to the formulation and application of strategic account and client growth plans.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align business development activities with company goals.
- Work alongside the Bids team to identify and secure new business within principal accounts.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development teams to execute campaigns, client events, and initiatives that elevate market presence and enhance client success.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of client data within the CRM system to support effective reporting and uphold data quality.
- Track business development efforts, prepare KPI reports, and identify areas for performance enhancement.
- Provide administrative and project assistance across various commercial activities.
- Perform additional duties and projects as necessary.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Possess a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Have at least three years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or a comparable commercial role.
- Understand principles of key account management and client relationship cultivation.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to effectively balance multiple priorities.
- Experience within the FMCG sector is highly advantageous.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities with confidence to build rapport across all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and experience crafting detailed reports and presentations.
- Show a proactive mindset with meticulous attention to detail and willingness to take initiative on projects.
- Ability to operate independently while contributing constructively within a team environment.
- Adaptable, resilient, and goal-oriented approach toward responsibilities.
