About the Position
Our company provides dedicated WordPress developers on a fixed monthly cost basis to digital agencies across the US, UK, and other international markets. We are seeking a Business Development Executive responsible for driving outbound sales efforts by identifying agencies in need of dependable, affordable development support and converting them into ongoing clients.
Key Duties
- Identify and research digital, marketing, and web agencies internationally that outsource or require WordPress development assistance.
- Conduct outbound communication through LinkedIn, cold emails, and other platforms to locate qualified leads.
- Present our fixed monthly cost WordPress developer service model, emphasizing cost savings, adaptability, and reliability compared to in-house hires or freelancers.
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software, monitoring outreach, follow-ups, and progression of deals.
- Hold discovery discussions to determine agency requirements including project size, technology stack, and team makeup, then suggest appropriate engagement models.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to confirm developer availability and client onboarding schedules.
- Negotiate retainer agreements and finalize contracts.
- Maintain and grow current agency partnerships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve monthly goals related to outreach frequency, qualified meetings, and closed sales.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, especially promoting services or staffing to agencies in US/UK markets.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Preferably experienced in marketing outsourced development, staffing, or dedicated resource service models such as dedicated developers, white-label solutions, or agency collaborations.
- Basic technical knowledge of WordPress, web development processes, or IT services for credible engagement with agency owners and project managers.
- Proficient in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io (or equivalent), and CRM platforms like HubSpot, Zoho, or Pipedrive.
- Familiarity with email automation/sequencing tools (e.g., Lemlist, Instantly) is advantageous.
- Comfortable working shifts that overlap UK and US business hours.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of operating independently with limited supervision.
