Bus Driver

Position Overview

Join Transdev's Capalaba team as a Bus Driver and embark on a career with daily meaningful impact. No previous experience is necessary as a fully funded training program is provided to help you obtain or upgrade your Medium Rigid (MR) licence. As a trained driver, you will be essential in operating safe, dependable, and sustainable bus services across various routes including urban areas, schools, and rail replacement services.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold full Australian work rights (citizen or permanent resident)
• Possession of a current Australian "C" class open car licence for a minimum of three years (can include overseas licences)
• Ability to obtain a Queensland Government Driver Authorisation
• Maintains a good driving record including having no more than four demerit points in the last three years
• No licence suspensions or good behaviour periods within the past three years except for State Penalty Enforcement Registry suspensions
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills
• Prioritizes safety in all aspects of work
• Flexibility to adapt to scheduling variations to meet timetable requirements
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including various shift patterns such as straight, split, and relief shifts
