Biology Expert

Job Overview

We are seeking a Biology Expert to provide specialized knowledge and critical evaluation of biological data within AI development. This position is contract-based and fully remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly analyze and critique biology-related content, data, and prompts used in AI workflows to ensure scientific validity.
• Design and refine scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations addressing complex biological challenges.
• Provide expert guidance to enhance the accuracy and depth of AI training data and outputs in biological domains.
• Work collaboratively with platform teams to resolve ambiguities and improve biological data quality, diversity, and comprehensiveness.
• Maintain detailed documentation on findings, methodologies, and scientific justifications to support transparency and reproducibility.
• Engage in iterative review and continual assessment cycles to improve AI system performance related to biology.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives with multidisciplinary teams to enrich project deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD) in Biology or a closely related life science field.
• Proven expertise in fundamental biological concepts with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to varied audiences.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for clearly conveying feedback and scientific insights.
• Experience in analyzing scientific data, critical assessment of research literature, and synthesizing complex biological information.
• Ability to work autonomously and consistently produce high-quality work within project deadlines.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technology projects; experience with AI is advantageous but not required.
• Meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and a dedication to upholding scientific accuracy.
