Role Overview

As a Bartender at SLS The Red Sea, your primary focus will be to craft and serve a variety of signature beverages, mocktails, and crafted drinks that embody the brand’s elevated hospitality standards. You will act as a beverage ambassador, delivering individualized guest interactions and maintaining impeccable service quality that resonates with the vibrant spirit of SLS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve an array of beverages in accordance with SLS recipes, presentation techniques, and guest preferences.
• Engage guests proactively to offer tailored recommendations and ensure memorable service experiences.
• Keep the bar area tidily organized and visually attractive, ensuring all equipment and ingredients are ready for service.
• Consistently uphold beverage quality by adhering to preparation methods, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Efficiently operate the POS system and manage guest transactions to support seamless bar service.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, preparation protocols, and allergen information to aid guest queries.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist in stock management, and report any shortages or needs to the supervisory team.
• Coordinate with bar colleagues, service staff, and the broader food and beverage team to guarantee smooth service flow and superior guest satisfaction.
• Comply with all health, safety, hygiene, and service policies, contributing positively to a professional, dynamic work environment.
• Support seasonal and special event beverage initiatives to continuously enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preparing and serving beverages, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale hospitality settings.
• Completion of high school or equivalent; formal training in beverage preparation or mixology is beneficial.
• Strong familiarity with specialty beverages, non-alcoholic spirits, mocktails, and the latest beverage trends.
• Proficient in beverage preparation techniques with a focus on quality, consistency, creativity, and attractive presentation.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and guest service skills; friendly and outgoing personality preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language capability is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, adept at multitasking, and capable of performing effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to stand for long durations and manage bar equipment and supplies as necessary.
