Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Back Up Nanny to join our team supporting multiple families in Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, WA. This role offers an engaging, creative, and flexible work environment primarily caring for infants and toddlers in-home. Ideal candidates include babysitters, daycare workers, retired teaching professionals, or anyone with child care experience looking for a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, in-home care for children, predominantly under age two, without the need to transport them.
- Maintain tidiness related to the child's activities or mealtime, with no additional household chores required.
- Engage children with age-appropriate, hands-on activities to promote development, ensuring their safety at all times.
Qualifications & Expectations
- Must be at least 18 years old with prior experience in child care, including mandatory infant care experience.
- Possess dependable transportation and willingness to travel to various homes within the region.
- Availability to work at least four days per week for 6 to 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM.
- Strong communication skills, responsiveness to staffing supervisors, and a positive attitude when engaging with families.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranges between $20 and $25.
- Paid training session and provision of a nanny kit containing age-appropriate activities and games.

Working Environment
