Azure DevOps Technical Lead

Overview

VDart Digital is a global emerging technology solutions provider specializing in SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analytics & Cloud), ERP (Oracle Applications, SAP), Business Intelligence (Hyperion), and Infrastructure services. We cater to industries such as BFSI, Manufacturing, Energy & Utility, Healthcare, and Technology across regions including USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, UK, Australia, and India. We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Technical Lead to join our team in Gurugram or Bangalore with a hybrid working model requiring three days onsite weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers to manage and support Azure-hosted application environments, including Virtual Machines (VMs) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Lead execution of application upgrades, deployments, and ensure overall environment readiness.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, application runtime, deployments, and data.
• Analyze and debug Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, addressing deployment failures and configuration challenges.
• Independently own assigned workstreams and drive them toward successful completion.
• Evaluate current cloud implementations and deployment methodologies, recommending enhancements for efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate effectively among application subject matter experts (SMEs), DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to automation initiatives, observability improvements, and platform reliability enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of professional experience, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and ability to lead execution independently.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including VMs, AKS, application hosting, and basic networking concepts.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, with experience troubleshooting deployment issues.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and cross-system troubleshooting aptitude.
• Ability to understand and debug application behavior, particularly in .NET environments and API integrations.
• Experience working within complex enterprise or vendor application ecosystems.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting purposes.
• Capability to critically assess existing implementations and suggest improvements.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms like Application Insights, Splunk, and Grafana.
• Background in financial services or investment platform environments.
