Associate Project Manager

Role overview

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an Associate Project Manager to join its Digital Programme Team. The role supports the delivery of the Trust’s digital strategy and helps progress modern technology initiatives that enable better care for patients.

You will be part of a small, collaborative and supportive team operating in a fast-moving environment where the need for digital solutions continues to grow. The work sits at the point where technology, clinical practice and project delivery meet, and involves working closely with project managers, senior leaders, clinicians and suppliers.

Key purpose of the role

This post focuses on managing individual items within the Trust’s digital roadmap. The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering defined work packages within wider complex projects and supporting reporting and coordination across change programmes.

What the Trust is looking for

Applicants should have experience delivering work packages in complex project settings. A degree-level education is preferred, although equivalent practical experience in project work will also be considered. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to influence and motivate project teams. Experience of working within project and change management programmes using PRINCE2 or a similar methodology is expected.
