Job description
About the Role
As an Associate Engineer specializing in Process Sustaining Engineering, you will join Analog Devices' advanced fabrication team in Limerick. This opportunity forms part of a 36-month immersive training program designed to strengthen key engineering skills through hands-on rotations in various critical departments. You will operate on a two-cycle shift between days and evenings, gaining exposure to both established and cutting-edge semiconductor processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate new semiconductor technologies.
- Validate and qualify equipment and tools in response to production scaling needs.
- Support the transfer and adaptation of manufacturing processes from other Analog Devices sites to Limerick.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on boosting yield and throughput within the fabrication environment.
- Implement cycle time reduction measures to streamline process efficiency.
- Engage in projects designed to reduce resource usage and environmental impact, including the minimization of water and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as perfluorinated chemical usage.
- Assist in adopting AI-driven enhancements for manufacturing process control and productivity.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Software, or related discipline.
- Strong foundation in technical problem solving and multitasking within fast-paced settings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to apply scientific principles and engineering methodologies.
- Self-motivation and initiative, with readiness to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with data analytics tools or concepts is advantageous.
