Role Overview
The Associate Director of Performance Marketing will spearhead the strategy and execution of performance marketing initiatives designed to boost learner acquisition, enrollment growth, and marketing return on investment throughout India. This pivotal leadership position demands strategic planning capabilities, deep digital marketing knowledge, data-centric decision-making, and effective team management to enhance demand generation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive national performance marketing strategy aligned with business targets, enrollment objectives, and revenue ambitions.
- Oversee digital acquisition campaigns end-to-end, incorporating paid media, lead generation, campaign optimization, conversion tracking, and performance analytics.
- Drive generation of qualified leads and maximize enrollment conversion rates through data-driven marketing tactics.
- Manage and refine multi-channel campaigns utilizing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, display networks, and affiliate channels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team comprising campaign managers, analysts, and agency collaborators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Program, Product, and Content divisions to enhance lead quality, conversion efficiency, and learner engagement.
- Continuously analyze campaign outcomes, market dynamics, competitor activities, and learner behavior to refine acquisition approaches.
- Ensure marketing excellence by applying comprehensive analytics, attribution modeling, budget management, forecasting, and executive reporting.
- Promote process improvements, advance marketing automation, and establish standard operating procedures and best practices within the performance marketing function.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree preferred with a minimum of 15 years in performance or digital marketing, demand generation, including at least 5 years in leadership roles related to higher education, EdTech, or B2C learning products.
- Demonstrated experience in the EdTech arena required, with a successful background in scaling digital acquisitions, optimizing marketing budgets, and boosting enrollment significantly.
- Strong command over paid media management, marketing analytics, attribution techniques, and conversion rate optimization.
- Proven ability to handle substantial marketing budgets, ensuring measurable return on investment.
- Familiarity with CRM solutions (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), marketing automation technologies, web analytics tools, and marketing tech ecosystems.
