About MGM Resorts and the Role
Step into an exhilarating, diverse, and entertainment-rich environment by joining MGM Resorts International. The Associate Creative Director (Luxury Resorts) is entrusted with leading creative oversight for MGM's premium luxury properties including Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, among others. This role ensures these brands maintain a distinct, memorable identity aligned with the overall MGM luxury vision across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the brand essence, tone, and visual style for designated luxury resorts or strategic initiatives including partnerships and loyalty programs.
- Lead or contribute to the ideation and execution of creative campaigns, content, and signature brand experiences, upholding quality and brand consistency under tight timelines.
- Provide direct creative input through original concepts, art direction, design, copywriting, especially on major or complex projects.
- Collaborate extensively with internal teams and external partners such as Property Presidents, marketing and entertainment departments, food and beverage, and brand strategy to transform business goals into cohesive creative outputs.
- Lead and mentor direct team members, matrixed creative professionals, external agencies, and production vendors to ensure excellent, consistent creativity.
- Manage creative efforts across the full marketing funnel and design integrated consumer experiences from pre-event to post-event phases.
- Explore and implement emerging technologies and tools, including generative AI, to enhance creative processes while ensuring quality standards and compliance.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design, advertising, marketing, communications, fine arts, brand management or allied fields.
- Minimum of 7 years of escalating responsibilities in creative, art direction, or content development within agency, corporate, or content-driven settings.
- A strong portfolio showcasing large-scale campaign work, brand identity, content creation, or experiential marketing activations.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams or managing external creative partners and agencies.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, especially liaising with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern collaboration tools.
