Swiggy Dineout operates India's largest dining out platform, serving over 100 million diners monthly through partnerships with more than 21,000 restaurants across 34 cities. The platform offers a varied range of dining options from quick service restaurants to fine dining, enabling customers to enjoy discounts of up to 40% on restaurant bills via easy payments on the Swiggy app. The team aims to transform dining out experiences across India.
Role Summary
The Associate Account Manager will manage onboarding and maintain relationships with approximately 70-80 restaurant partners within a designated territory. The goal is to drive business growth and service enhancements to achieve a monthly Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) target of 80-90 lakhs. Specific partner counts and revenue targets depend on assigned geographical markets (India 1 and India 2).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding by guiding partners on requirements and collaborating with internal teams.
- Regularly visit partnered restaurants to verify accuracy of Restaurant Display Page content and image coverage.
- Deliver compelling presentations advocating the benefits of Dineout plans and promotions to encourage consistent partner investments.
- Coordinate growth activities including offer alignment and marketing operations to ensure timely execution of events and initiatives.
- Resolve transactional issues such as diner payout denials to ensure smooth customer and partner experiences.
- Develop growth strategies for each managed account while monitoring competitive actions.
- Analyze relevant performance data from dashboards and communicate key metrics to partners.
- Engage partners to optimize Restaurant Display Page for better customer conversions and business expansion.
- Monitor partner investments in discounts, commissions, and advertising compared to competitors and advise accordingly.
- Collaborate with partner support, sales operations, and finance teams to address issues related to discount changes, reconciliations, GST queries, and payment discrepancies.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of Dineout offerings and growth drivers.
- Familiarity with basic restaurant performance metrics including operating hours, Ads revenue per order, commission revenue per order, and average order value.
- Experience using data dashboards and tools such as CMS, Power BI, Compass, or Salesmate.
- Knowledge of advanced conversion funnel analysis on various time frames including weekly and daily metrics, denial rates, and supply comparisons with competitors.
Candidate Profile and Experience
- Graduate with 1.5 to 3 years of field sales experience.
- Fluency in the local language and working knowledge of English.
- Good understanding of ecommerce activities and online marketing channels.
- Confident, personable, and proactive sales-oriented attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in Excel and analytical data interpretation.
- Flexible to accommodate the non-standard operating hours of restaurant partners.
- Demonstrated leadership and influence capabilities to build extensive networks and execute well-planned strategies.
- Adaptability to change and initiative to implement effective solutions.

Work Environment
