Role Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with expertise in fresh produce to join and strengthen the leadership team. This role involves overseeing the fresh food departments, with a particular focus on the produce section's performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage produce ordering processes to optimize stock levels
• Control and minimize wastage and shrinkage within fresh departments
• Ensure consistently high standards in quality and presentation of produce
• Maintain excellent department appearance at all times
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team leadership duties
• Handle rostering and contribute to driving overall store performance

Required Experience and Skills

• Previous leadership experience within supermarkets, petrol/convenience stores, or hospitality sectors such as restaurants and cafes
• Demonstrated knowledge of produce ordering and effective management of wastage and shrinkage
• Capability to lead and motivate teams to achieve performance goals
• Commercial awareness with strong stock control abilities
