Assistant Store Manager

Role Overview

The salary for this role is €40,000 per year, plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead day-to-day store activity, support the team, and help deliver strong commercial results. The role also calls for active involvement in visual standards, operational excellence, and team development.

• Support the Store Manager and step in when needed to guide the team and maintain store standards.
• Set the example for excellent customer service and coach colleagues to deliver it consistently.
• Help build a positive and engaging workplace for the team.
• Contribute to succession planning by identifying and developing future talent.
• Give timely feedback, recognise strong performance, and celebrate achievements.
• Ensure the store presentation stays polished and aligned to Sports Direct brand standards.
• Drive sales performance and help the store exceed targets wherever possible.
• Lead the team to work efficiently, follow best practice, and support business goals.
• Promote strong brand knowledge and commercial awareness across the team.

Candidate Profile
