Role Overview

The Assistant Manager - Strategy & Value Creation will focus on delivering strategic, financial, and commercial analyses for a designated business vertical. This role involves evaluating business opportunities, supporting priority initiatives, developing business cases, and preparing executive-level materials to aid strategic and operational decisions. The incumbent will also contribute to the strategic management process by collaborating with vertical strategy teams and corporate functions to develop, execute, and monitor strategic objectives aimed at long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in the entire strategic planning cycle, including goal setting and tracking performance across business verticals.
  • Coordinate data collection, validate information, consolidate updates, and prepare monthly reports on strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to quarterly scorecard reporting efforts by tracking targets and supporting analytical processes.
  • Develop and refine planning tools, trackers, and dashboards to uphold consistent standards and facilitate best practices.
  • Identify and assess opportunities to strengthen market positioning and deliver long-term value through comprehensive financial, commercial, market, and competitor analysis.
  • Synthesize information from various internal and external sources to generate actionable insights and prepare clear, concise presentations for executive audiences.
  • Assist in opportunity evaluation using financial modeling, benchmarking, and strategic fit analysis.
  • Participate in exploratory reviews of emerging sectors, industries, and business models aligned with group growth strategies.
  • Support the planning and execution of strategic and transformational projects including milestone tracking, progress updates, and documentation management.
  • Monitor project delivery, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues with related analyses; prepare materials for leadership meetings, workshops, and briefings.
  • Maintain close coordination with vertical teams and corporate support functions to secure input alignment and consistency across strategy submissions and reports.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in strategy roles, preferably within consulting or corporate strategy functions.
  • Experience supporting strategic transformation initiatives is advantageous.
  • Exposure to industries such as real estate, hospitality, or entertainment through direct experience or strategy engagements is preferred.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
