Role Overview

The Admissions Specialist position is a contract-based, fully remote role responsible for assisting prospective clients and their families during the initial engagement with the treatment center. Key duties involve managing inquiries via phone, email, and digital platforms; elucidating program details; and performing preliminary screenings and intake assessments following standard procedures. The role also requires collecting and confirming client data, coordinating with clinical and administrative units for scheduling assessments or program commencements, and ensuring accurate record maintenance within the admissions system. This role demands delivering empathetic and professional support to help individuals comprehend their treatment choices and facilitate a seamless enrollment into suitable services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both spoken and written, for interacting with clients, families, and internal staff.
• Proven experience in customer service emphasizing empathy, professionalism, and prompt follow-up.
• Background in sales or outreach, with the ability to clearly present program benefits and assist prospective clients in decision-making processes.
• Experience in student recruitment, education, or other admissions-related fields that involve candidate assessment and enrollment.
• Capability to manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with privacy laws such as HIPAA; prior experience in behavioral health or healthcare is preferred.
• Comfort with remote working environments and proficiency using digital tools, electronic health records, or CRM platforms to handle inquiries and documentation.
• Strong organizational abilities, detail orientation, and skill in juggling multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in fields like psychology, social work, counseling, or communications is advantageous.
