Job Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly, assist with in-office meetings, and maintain exemplary hospitality for investment team members and company founders.
- Oversee office maintenance by managing cleaning services, vendors, suppliers, and inventory levels.
- Arrange catering and lunch deliveries, manage meeting rooms including scheduling, setup, and ensuring readiness.
- Provide support for team activities such as organizing lunch orders, coordinating events, and handling mail and package logistics.
- Convert meeting notes into actionable items and provide operational support across various departments including finance, content, and community teams.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline team workflows.
- Lead strategic projects from initiation to completion, ensuring precise written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
- Help coordinate events of varying sizes, such as quarterly dinners, breakfast forums, and large annual celebrations.
- Maintain CRM databases by updating records and organizing incoming data efficiently.
- Lead New York City-based community engagement activities and portfolio support.
- Be adaptable and ready to assist with any task, embracing the unexpected in a flexible manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in administrative or operations roles within startup environments or customer-facing industries such as hospitality or public relations.
- Proficient with Gmail, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in event planning and management.
- Basic knowledge of customer relationship management systems and familiarity with project management tools.
Work Arrangement
This position requires being physically present in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
