Accountant

About the Role

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial transactions by accurately collecting, tracking, and correcting financial data. This role involves conducting financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining precise financial records throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Precisely record and summarize all financial transactions.
• Provide support for accounts payable, payroll processing, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.
• Assist with audit processes and ensure full adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Detect and report any irregularities or discrepancies in financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements promptly, addressing discrepancies as they arise.
• Maintain accounting controls by adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
• Guide and coordinate accounting clerical personnel, answering queries and facilitating smooth operations.
• Secure financial data by performing regular backups of relevant databases.
