Positions are available at various ranks depending on experience and qualifications, and both faculty and professional officer roles are open.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor learners at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education levels.

Faculty design innovative learning experiences, such as real-world cyber defense projects, malware analysis, incident response drills, and practical security simulations. Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to authentic and outcome-focused learning, creating opportunities for students to demonstrate capability in realistic scenarios.
Research and Innovation
The role involves contributing to research that bridges academic inquiry and industry application through partnerships and translational work. Desired contributions include producing practical tools, methodologies, datasets, and solutions that address genuine sector needs, with the goal of implementing impactful advancements in cybersecurity practice.
Desired Expertise
- Profound knowledge in one or more cybersecurity domains, such as threat detection, incident response, adversary simulation, threat intelligence, operational cyber defense, security automation, and AI applications for security.
- Experience with operational, industry, or governmental cybersecurity is strongly valued.
- Professional credentials or certifications in cybersecurity will enhance candidacy.
Qualifications
- A Doctorate, or a Master’s degree accompanied by a distinguished record in industry or government cybersecurity roles, in computer science, information security, computer engineering, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated teaching or training success, especially in applied or competency-based settings.
- Proven ability to translate expertise into hands-on, authentic teaching and meaningful research with real-world application.
- A passion for student engagement and willingness to embrace innovative teaching practices such as flipped classrooms and team-based learning.
- Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative outlook.
Preferred Experience
- Background in operational cyber defense (e.g., threat hunting, incident response, adversary emulation, red/purple teaming).
- Record of applied research, practical scholarship, or innovation in cybersecurity domains.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities, especially for senior candidates.
- Contributions to program development, industry partnerships, and applied research initiatives.
Additional Information
This is a permanent or fixed-term appointment dependent on profile, with a strong institutional commitment to ongoing professional and teaching development. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, research statement, and teaching statement. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps.
