Overview
Join Swift Robotics as a Software Development intern to engage in pioneering projects within the robotics domain using your skills in C++ programming and Linux environments. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software team to architect and develop robotics-focused software solutions.
- Identify, debug, and resolve software issues to optimize robot system performance.
- Facilitate the integration between software modules and hardware components for seamless operation.
- Participate actively in code reviews to foster improved coding standards.
- Keep abreast with recent advancements and trends in software development related to robotics.
- Document software designs and architectural decisions to support maintainability.
- Assist in software testing and verification to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks and user needs.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Capable of undertaking a remote internship.
- Available to commence work between July 31, 2026 and September 4, 2026.
- Committed to a 6-month internship duration.
- Possess relevant skills and enthusiasm for software development and robotics.
- Preferably pursuing Computer Science Engineering education.
Requirements and Additional Skills
- Strong proficiency in Linux environments and ecosystems.
- Experience programming in C/C++ with build systems such as CMake.
- Knowledge of Linux system APIs and typical development workflows.
- Understanding of ARM64 cross-compilation techniques.
- Familiarity with Yocto build framework.
- Hands-on experience with Linux GPIO, I2C, and I2S interfaces.
- Exposure to working with the NVIDIA Jetson hardware platform.
Compensation and Work Details
- Stipend ranging from INR 20,000 to 30,000 monthly.
- Flexible working hours arranged over 5 days a week.
- Internship duration: 6 months with immediate start availability.
