Legal Research Internship – Remote, Part-Time

About the Internship

This internship involves conducting research focused on social, legal, and public policy matters. The role includes both desk-based analysis and field-related investigations aligned with Kartavyam's projects. Interns will contribute to preparing case studies, impact assessments, and reports, as well as drafting briefs and summaries for various campaigns.

Additional tasks involve assisting with the development of surveys, questionnaires, and interview guides. The candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams to understand specific research requirements. Maintaining ethical rigor, accuracy, and proper documentation of research outcomes is essential. Interns will also revise their work according to supervisory feedback and support advocacy and awareness-related research efforts.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

• Applicants must be willing and able to work remotely for the full 3-month internship duration.
• Available to start between July 18, 2026, and August 22, 2026.
• Possess relevant research and legal interests or skills.
• Women aiming to begin or resume their careers are encouraged to apply.

Stipend and Benefits

This is an unpaid internship. However, participants will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon completion. The position offers flexible working hours and a schedule of five working days per week.
