Job description
Overview

Currently, we seek a Train Traffic Controller (w/m/d) for the DB InfraGO AG division, with positions at Bad Bodenteich, Dahlenburg, Dannenberg, Ebstorf, Hitzacker (Elbe), Wahrenholz, or Wittingen.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and timely execution of train and shunting movements by performing necessary checks and precautions, such as route inspections, at signal boxes with simple or complex infrastructure.
- During operational disruptions, conduct hazard assessments, maintain communication with all parties involved, and ensure safe train operations.
- Operate in compliance with applicable regulations, local rules, operational orders, and instructions, documenting all actions accordingly.
- Issue, receive, transmit, and document operational notifications, orders, commands, and timetable announcements.
- Operate and monitor assigned control, safety, and telecommunications systems.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Train Traffic Controller (EiB F or career changer) with active qualification and strong knowledge of operational procedures.
- Independent, diligent, and solution-oriented working style.
- Willingness to work in shift and rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Full physical suitability for operational duties and psychological fitness for the role.
- Valid Class B driving license and own car.
