Youth Program Coordinator

Role Overview

Discovery Dunes Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and imaginative Youth Program Coordinator who will take charge of organizing exciting camps, family events, outdoor activities, and youth programs for members and their families. Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating programs for children including camps, outdoor pursuits, and family-oriented events.
• Develop enjoyable, safe, and memorable activities that actively engage kids and keep them entertained.
• Support and oversee water-based recreational activities ensuring participant safety.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with members and their families while providing outstanding customer service.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols.
• Lead themed celebrations, holiday camps, seasonal events, and special experiences for families.
• Modify activities dynamically in response to weather, participant capabilities, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with various departments to guarantee smooth execution of events and programs.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• At least three years’ experience in youth engagement roles such as youth programs, kids clubs, camps, recreation, hospitality, sports clubs, or leisure sectors.
• A sincere enthusiasm for working with children and family groups.
• Strong leadership qualities paired with excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Proven track record in managing group activities, sports sessions, or adventure-based programs.
• Competent swimming ability enabling safe management of aquatic activities.
• Preferred certifications include First Aid and CPR.
• A vibrant, positive, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-energy or fast-paced settings.
• Willingness to work during weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
