Job overview
This role is centered on giving day-to-day operational and administrative assistance to sector-focused working groups in Abu Dhabi. The position helps ensure meetings run smoothly, records stay accurate, stakeholders remain engaged, and communication across participants and internal teams stays coordinated.
Core duties
- Arrange and coordinate working group meetings, workshops, and other related sessions.
- Send meeting invites, prepare participation lists, and share materials with attendees ahead of time.
- Document meeting discussions, maintain action trackers, and assist with follow-ups under senior guidance.
- Keep participant databases, sector topics, and stakeholder details current and organized.
- Provide practical logistical and administrative support to promote active member participation.
- Collect, structure, and preserve data, reports, documents, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments on information requests, joint initiatives, and shared workstreams.
- Help draft summaries, progress updates, communication drafts, and presentation content.
- Refer unresolved issues or urgent stakeholder matters to the Senior Specialist or Section Head.
- Follow local and federal Health, Safety, and Environment policies and standards.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor that align with business needs and the role.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a similar discipline is required. The role calls for at least 3 years of experience in stakeholder coordination, administration, engagement, or research-related work. Experience in government, semi-government, or business-facing environments is considered an advantage.
