Role overview
As a Wireless Sales Consultant, you will be the person customers rely on for a strong wireless shopping experience. This position is centered on sales, customer support, and product guidance, while also contributing to a culture of learning and growth for both customers and coworkers. You will keep building your knowledge of wireless technology and share that expertise with store colleagues and related business teams.
The role focuses on helping individual shoppers and business clients choose wireless products and services that support their work and learning needs. Success in this position comes from product knowledge, enthusiasm for new technology, and the ability to build trust with customers.
Key duties
- Engage with customers, collaborate with them, and identify opportunities for wireless and wireline sales.
- Address customer needs by delivering informed support and strong service, while recommending additional products and services that add value.
- Work with the broader store team to promote offers, generate interest in wireless solutions, and encourage referrals.
- Work toward and meet individual sales targets.
- Keep merchandising aligned with company standards, including correct and up-to-date pricing.
- Follow asset protection measures and privacy requirements.
- Use internal communication tools such as the mobile app, intranet, and bulletin boards to stay informed.
- Resolve customer issues when possible and escalate concerns to management when needed.
Qualifications
You should bring 3 months to 1 year of experience in wireless sales or general sales. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, effective at selling, able to coach others, and comfortable communicating through different channels. Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills are important for handling daily responsibilities and supporting customers efficiently. You should also be tech-savvy, curious, approachable, enthusiastic, and skilled at solving problems.
