Position Overview
We are searching for a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) who possesses a robust background in mental health and holistic lifestyle guidance to provide virtual coaching. The role merges mental well-being coaching with broader health support, engaging participants in behavior change and resilience-building through evidence-based, person-centered methods.
Work Schedule
- Commitment of 10-15 hours weekly
- At least two consistent working days each week
- Minimum 2 hours weekly during one of these windows: 4-8pm CT Monday to Thursday or 8am-12pm CT Saturday to Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mental health and wellness coaching via video or phone sessions
- Implement coaching strategies grounded in cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and behavioral science
- Assist participants with goal setting, managing stress, cultivating resilience, and sustaining healthy lifestyle habits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive whole-person care
- Escalate clinical or safety concerns following established protocols and maintain thorough documentation
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team culture
- Document participant engagement and outcomes accurately and timely using organizational standards
- Analyze data and feedback to continuously enhance coaching quality and participant satisfaction
- Engage in ongoing professional development, trainings, and team meetings
- Stay abreast of coaching best practices, behavioral science developments, and mental health trends
- Support non-clinical projects such as content creation, webinars, public speaking, and technology implementation as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active certification as a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC)
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health coaching and holistic, lifestyle-oriented care
- Preferred experience providing virtual coaching services
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic remote environment
- Strong communicator with a collaborative and client-focused approach
