Role overview
The Welcomer Supervisor (Front Office) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day front office activity and supporting a seamless guest arrival and departure experience. The role also involves leading the front desk team, maintaining service quality, and ensuring that operations align with hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily front office activities and make sure check-in and check-out procedures run efficiently.
- Guide, support, and inspire front desk staff to deliver consistently high service levels.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with other hotel departments to help deliver a smooth and satisfying guest experience.
- Keep track of room availability and assist with reservation-related tasks when required.
- Help onboard new colleagues and contribute to their training and continuous development.
- Ensure day-to-day work follows hotel policies, operating procedures, and brand expectations.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings prior front office experience, preferably in a supervisory role, along with strong people skills and the confidence to manage guest interactions calmly and empathetically. Experience using the Opera system is required, and the role also calls for a detail-oriented, solution-focused mindset.
